EKG Results and GI Update

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. It is non-stop around here! So, Trista had an EKG on Wednesday along with a visit to her cardiologist. Great news! Her heart looks great - they are simply amazed at how well it's doing. Her saturation levels are at 100% which is incredible for a baby with TOF. They were really excited with what they saw with this EKG. We had some more good news after the cardiology appt. We headed down to ENT for them to re-check her ears. The doctor had noticed that the infection was decreasing! Not completely, but at least something is finally working for her! We will be scheduling her tubes at her next appointment.

She tipped the scales at over 10 pounds this week. Woo-Hoo!!!


We were also able to meet with GI yesterday for their interpretation of the pH probe results. While the results were not good, they would still like to wait it out to see if she possibly outgrows this sever reflux issue. They gave us the option to put her on Reglan, but from what I've heard, I was not comfortable putting her on that due to the possible neurological side effects. That's the LAST thing she needs right now! They also told us we could go ahead and switch her formula back to something more basic. So, that we did. Tried her on some Similac last night and that was NOT a good idea. She vomited and vomited until nothing else was left. Looks like we're going to be on the Alimentum for a while!

So, all in all it has been a week of good news! She is such a strong little girl - she continues to amaze us!

Trista's daddy's birthday is today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY! YOUR LITTLE GIRL LOVES YOU TO PIECES!! :)
