The new formula didn't work out well at all. Trista has a serious aversion to new tastes and she was not liking it at all. Plus, after 2 1/2 days it had not made a difference in the amount she was refluxing. So, we now have to move to Plan B which is to start the Azithromiacin. She will take it 3 times a day. They have not given us a timeframe of how long she will be on it. We have a call with them on Monday to discuss how long she will be treated with this. Again, it is an antibiotic that increases gastric emptying. They are hoping that the formula will move through her system faster and won't sit in her belly long enough for the reflux to happen. We'll see how this works. At this point we will try just about anything!
